Rudy Fernandez: there is a special mental connection between Spanish players

After the final, when Spain had won the gold medals and defended their title, Rudy Fernandez, one of the starting - five players, agreed to answer a few questions:

What are the emotions after your victory?

We won the championship 2 years ago, and now we did that again. I think that's incredible. Spanish team is a very good team, I believe that there is a special mental connection between players. We are all very happy.

Some specialists claim that the defence of French team is the best - what do you think?

Sure, French team played very well in this championship. they were very aggresive in defence. Our team plays a team-game, but, of course, sometimes we depend on J.C. Navaro shots. I personally think that we play a little more relaxed game.

What is your impression about Lithuania?

I think Lithuania is a great country. Although it rains here a lot, the cities are very beautiful, and the people are unbelievably keen on basketball. So, it's a great country which loves basketball.
