Kaunas cardiologists saved Arvydas Sabonis' life. There is no lethal danger to the legendray basketball player. This is what was approved on Wednesday morning by the Kaunas Cardiology clinic director Remigijus Žaliūnas.
The life of A.Sabonis was saved thanks to immediate help provided, but he is still in the intensive therapy section. Although he was feelling a lot better this morning.
A myocardium infarct was diagnosed for him.
A.Sabonis finished his professional career as a basketball player in 2005, when he was 40 years old.
He hasn't had any seriuos health problems, except variuos traumas, until now.
He was the ambassador of the Eurobasket 2011, held in Lithuania. While advertising the event, he visited many countries and made a huge input in the whole project.
