Vilniaus "Lietuvos rytas" in Siemens arena stepped into the semi-final in the tournament for the participation in the ULEB Euroleague. In the quarter-final Podgoric "Buducnost" was eliminated without any bigger problems by 19 points - 83:64 (21:22, 19:10, 16:17, 27:15).
"Lietuvos rytas" is meeting with Zagreb "Cibona" (Croatia) in semi-finals on Saturday.
"Lietuvos rytas": Renaldas Seibutis 17, Tyrese Rice 16 (5 ass.), Jonas Valančiūnas 11 (8 reb.), Steponas Babrauskas and Mindaugas Katelynas 10, Brad Newley and Predrag Samardžiski 7, Artūras Jomantas 3, Lawrence Roberts 2.
"Budučnost": Nikola Vucevič 18 (6 reb.), Nikola Ivanovič 14, Bojan Krstovič 9, Vladimir Mihailovič 7.
