"Dynamo" Moscow adds Hollis Price

Dynamo Moscow is working hard to get ready for the 2008-09 ULEB Cup season. On Thursday, Dynamo announced the arrival of playmaker Hollis Price, who inked a two-year deal with the Russian powerhouse. Price (186, 28) arrives from Lietuvos Rytas, where he was the fourth-highest scorer in the Euroleague last season at 16.9 points per game.

Price was tied for sixth place in assists at 3.9 per night. He helped L. Rytas to reach the Euroleague Top 16, winning its regular season group. Price also led the club to three finals -  the Lithuanian League, Lithuanian Cup and Baltic League - but lost all of them against Zalgiris.

Price has also played for Caja San Fernando in Spain, Alba Berlin in Germany and Le Mans in France. Price won the French Cup with Le Mans in 2004 and also the German Cup with Alba in 2006. This will be his fourth ULEB Cup season.

Price is the first new signing after David Blatt took over as head coach earlier in the week. The club has also resigned forward Sergey Monya for two more seasons.
