Kęstutis Kemzūra: 16 mistakes in one game is quite a luxury

Our national team started the championship with a very important victory, though Kęstutis Kemzūra wasn‘t quite happy with everything.

“16 mistakes in one game is quite a luxury. Our game should be more agressive, and we should also have in mind that this night was a 3-point night and it won‘t be like this everytime“ – our team strategist stated.

He also explained why the team has been in the black hole during the third quarter of the match.

“As i‘ve already mentioned, we weren‘t agressive enough and we started to rush, which led us to a lot of missed 3-point shots. We had our chances, but we missed them. We should find a compromise between an agressive and a calm playing style“ – K.Kemzūra told the journalists.

“We are not afraid of anybody, but I have to say that Poland team played a good game and every minute of their mach is worth some respect. This is the European championship, so I don‘t think that there are weaks teams here“ – K. Kemzūra ended his speech.
