Maccabi thinking about the new season already

sraeli giants Maccabi Tel-Aviv have already started looking for new faces that could join the club in summer. Legendary coach Pini Gershon will have an opportunity to build the team the way he sees it. The Yellows were knocked out in Top 16 in Euroleague and will surely look to improve their performances next season.

Among many names Chuck Eidson stands up as the most likely target. American small forward is currently with Lietuvos Rytas in Lithuania. He will have yet another chance to show his skills on European stage as his team will participate in Eurocup Final Eight in Turin next week. Eidson is a clear leader for Rytas with 15.8 points per game in Eurocup.

TAU Ceramica was close to signing Eidson this season but the price tag set by Rytas was too big. Rimas Kurtinaitis, head coach of Lietuvos Rytas, has described Chuck Eidson as one of the best small forwards in Europe.

Other names being linked with Maccabi are Ksistof Lavrinovic (Montepaschi), Thomas Kelati (Unicaja), Alan Anderson (Cibona), David Bluthenthal (Le Mans), Mirza Begic (Olimpija), David Hawkins (Armani Jeans Milano).
