Zalgiris Kaunas start their training camp in Kaunas, with their physical training coach Sigitas Kavaliauskas.

There will be only 4 players in the first practice - Paulius Jankunas, Mantas Kalnietis, Dainius Salenga and Tadas Klimavicius.

Willie Deane III and youngster Zygimantas Janavicius will be joining the team by the end of the week, while veteran Marcus Brown and Loren Woods, returning to Zalgiris lineup after a year at Efes Pilsen and Houston Rockets, will come in the first week of September.

The training will be held in Kaunas for now, but when the foreign players join the team, it will go to Klaipeda, and then, on the 13th of September, Zalgiris leaves to a friendly tournament in Italy.
Zalgiris is still looking for a shooting guard and a big man. The main candidate for the guard spot a couple of weeks ago was Alex Garcia according to various sources.
